Q: Is this available outside of Florida?
A: The KEEP Kit Bootcamp is currently Florida-only. The legal documents, execution requirements, and filing instructions are all specific to Florida law. If you are not a Florida resident, the legal templates will not apply to your situation.
Q: I already have a will. Does it name guardians? Is that enough?
A: A will is an important document, but it is not enough on its own. A will does not take effect until a court validates it through probate, which takes time. In the immediate hours and days after something happens to you, your children need someone with immediate legal authority to act. The Declaration of Pre-Need Guardian is filed while you are alive and gives your guardian that authority right away. The KEEP Kit covers both.
Q: Do both parents have to complete the bootcamp?
A: Each parent should complete the program individually, and the legal documents require both parents to sign if both are living. The bootcamp is designed for both co-parents to work through it, with Day 3 specifically guiding couples through comparing and aligning on their guardian choices.
Q: What if I am a single parent?
A: The KEEP Kit Bootcamp is built for single parents too. Day 3 has a single-parent path that skips the comparison step and goes straight into the deeper planning work. All documents have single-parent versions.
Q: Does buying the KEEP Kit mean I have hired an attorney?
A: No. Purchasing the KEEP Kit Bootcamp does not create an attorney-client relationship. The program is an educational resource created by a licensed Florida attorney. If you need advice specific to your family's circumstances, the program includes a path to schedule a one-on-one consultation.
Q: What is the difference between the tiers?
A: Every tier includes the full 7-day bootcamp, all document templates, and the two bonus days. The Legacy tier adds a physical branded folder mailed to your home with printed documents, laminated emergency cards, and your Legacy Interview on USB or QR code. The Legacy+ tier adds attorney preparation and review of all your documents, plus the firm handles your filing with the clerk on your behalf.
Q: What happens after I complete the bootcamp?
A: Graduates receive two bonus days. Day 8 walks you through the gap that remains after guardian planning is done and introduces a path forward. Day 9 addresses the financial side of protecting your family. There is no pressure and no obligation, but most graduates find they want to know what comes next.
